• Winning The Game of Networking - a lunch designed to teach you the ins and outs of networking in a fun, comfortable environment. This month we are featuring author Jim Penny. He has created a Quiz Show Game that he normally charges thousands of dollars to organize for companies. It has the collective wisdom of sales, motivation and networking experts such as Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, Jeff Klein, and Sandra Yancy (founder of eWomenNetwork and author of Relationship Networking). For the job seeker, the obvious benefit is that most of the attendees are small business owners who have clients who may have positions open. I say this so that you can tailor your 30 second commercial to ask for referrals in certain companies or kinds of companies. This is a good opportunity for you to meet a different group in a non-threatening environment. If you have friends and colleague whom you’ve been trying to convince to get themselves out there, this is the event to send them to. When: First Friday of the Month, 11:30am-1pm, Where: Spaghetti Warehouse on 15th and 75, Plano TX, COST: $1 + lunch($10.01) Please RSVP on the meetup group: http://businessnetwork.meetup.com/961 There is also a link from my website www.vividepiphany. com
