Wow – it’s that time of year again: WordCamp!

 

 

Being of that generation, I have to say: WordCamp to me is Woodstock for techno-geeks. And would-be geeks. We are mostly here to learn from the techno-geeks. They’re our rockstars!

 

And although no one trashed their Macs or destroyed their guitar onstage – Scott Kingsley Clark did serenade us at the end of the day regarding using Wordpress as a CMS. See more details at pods.uproot.us

 

 

Wordpress is beginning to attract (command?) a lot of attention from the corporate arena. Scouts from GoDaddy were in attendance at WordCamp Dallas on Saturday.

 

Lorelle http://lorelle.wordpress.com/ gave a super presentation to a very well designed Star Trek ‘episode’ that she created. Talk about making things relevant! Very helpful as always.

 

The schedule on Saturday ran over by 1.5 hours and would expect the same today. But it’s well worth it. Rock On Wordpress! I love you guys!
